With a career in design and marketing spanning nearly 20 years, Matt is an industry veteran with a proven track record of leading creative teams. Known for exceptionally crafted work, he is a champion of clean, intentional design matched by an eye for detail and a user-centric approach.
As a designer, Matt is also well-versed across different mediums including interactive, illustration, and print, but his first passion as always been in visual identity and brand systems.
As a creative leader, Matt believes that knowledge and experience should be shared and he invests time in the professional development of designers. You can often catch him as a guest on podcasts and speaking at events sharing experiences.
Outside of work, Matt is fanatical about baseball and is a lifelong student of the game. He enjoys a wonderful family with his wife, three kids and their black lab, Winnie. The Coles proudly call Ridgefield, Washington their hometown. Matt holds a BA in Political Science from Whitworth University.
